Using the Skyword platform to edit articles in both AP and Chicago styles, focusing on style, logic, grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling and search engine optimization. Providing editorial feedback and revision requests to writers in order to strengthen each piece and ensure they meet the client’s needs and content guidelines.

Handled the majority of content editing for the Health and Lifestyles team. Conducted monthly plagiarism checks and ensured writers are putting out quality content. Sent team emails and conducted workshops on common writing problems relating to AP Style, spelling and grammar.

Content writer at a digital marketing firm targeting large- to medium-sized companies. Produced up to 4,000 words per day for various client blogs and websites. Specialized in lifestyle and healthcare feeds.
Editorial Intern @ Rhode Island Monthly
Assisted editors with day-to-day editorial tasks. Wrote weekly event newsletters and monthly dining newsletters. Researched and produced articles on a variety of topics that were featured on RI Monthly’s website and in print issues.
Editorial Intern @ Grace Ormonde Wedding Style
Researched upcoming wedding trends, created social media marketing campaigns, edited and uploaded Real Wedding submissions, and updated the Wedding Style blog.

Worked as a front-desk agent at a 5-star private country club. Provided highest level of customer service by building relationships with elite clientele. Acted as an intermediary between members and other departments. Worked in the spa, marketing and housekeeping departments when needed.

Paid teaching assistant for TMD 126: Introduction to Design. Graded all projects and tests for a class of 80 students. Provided extra help and exam reviews. Worked closely with Dr. Karl Aspelund to develop assignments.
